Do you have a favorite dog park you visit with your pet?
Technobark, an online magazine that reviews high-tech products for dogs, surveyed 3,000 adults to identify the top 120 hidden gem dog parks in the United States.
“Each park to make our ranking is a paw-printed pathway to delight and discovery,” says Gary Nealon of Technobark.com. “The best treasures are often found off the beaten path, so we hope our study helps dog owners to sniff out new adventures and create unforgettable memories with their furry friends.”
Michigan had three parks make it into the top hidden gems for dogs:
Millennium Park Dog Park
Millennium Park Dog Park in Grand Rapids made it to No. 12 on the list. According to Technobark, the park officers lots of space for dogs to run and play. It has wooded trails, open fields, and access to the Grand River for dogs who want to swim.
Lakeshore Park
Lakeshore Park in Novi made it to No. 57 on the list. According to Technobark, it offers views of Walled Lake and is a calm place for dogs to play off-leash. There are grassy areas, walking trails, and access to the lake for swimming.
Orion Oaks Dog Park
Orion Oaks Dog Park in Lake Orion made it to No. 65 on the list. According to Technobark, it’s an expansive off-leash park that has areas for small and large dogs. It has wooded trails, open fields, and a pond where dogs can swim.
