DETROIT – The Michigan Humane Society rescued 11 puppies from a hole in a yard of a Detroit home Wednesday afternoon.
The mother had left the shepherd mix puppies in an underground hole. Rescuers feared that the puppies would drown due to heavy rain in the forecast.
The puppies were brought to the MHSÂ to be cleaned up and get shots. Rescue workers were also able to trap the mom, and she is with the puppies.
