About the rankings
Each year, U.S. News & World Report evaluates graduate school programs across business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing. Rankings are based on a combination of expert opinions and statistical measures of quality, including faculty credentials, research productivity and post-graduate outcomes.
Data for the 2025-26 rankings was collected through surveys sent to academic leaders and professionals in fall 2023 and early 2024. Peer assessments were based on a scale of 1 to 5, ensuring a comprehensive snapshot of academic excellence across the country.
