The 2019 Michigan Renaissance Festival is open weekends Aug. 17 through Sept. 29.

Activities are available for visitors of all ages, including a playscape and people-powered rides for children. An array of food to go along with the entertainment will be available, along with a variety of pubs and drinks for people ages 21 and older.
Some of the fun events this year include a royal high tea, the Game of Thrones feast, a Masquerade Ball and Ladies Shopping Day.
Themes for each weekend this year include:
- Aug 17-18: Pirates and Pets
- Aug 24-25: Highland Fling
- Aug. 31, Sept. 1-2: Vikings
- Sept 7-8: Wonders of the World
- Sept 14-15: Shamrocks and Shenanigans
- Sept 21-22: Harvest Huzzah
- Sept 27: Festival Friday
- Sept 28-29: Sweet Endings

The Michigan Renaissance Festival takes place at 12600 Dixie Highway, in Holly, which is located in Northern Oakland County.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., rain or shine.
This year's Festival Friday takes place Sept. 27.
