The A.L. Cy Young race likely won't be altered by the ninth inning of Thursday's Tigers-Rangers game, but the Tigers beleaguered bullpen found help from an unlikely source--utility infielder Danny Worth.
With a pitching staff worn out after Wednesday's 13 inning game in Cleveland and down 9-2. Worth came out to pitch the ninth inning at Comerica Park.

Using a mix of knuckleballs and junk pitches, Worth managed to strike out two hitters and retire the side after surrendering just one hit. He also didn't balk, which is a definite plus.
