Michigan football made headlines Wednesday, signing one of the nation's top-five recruiting classes and landing a pair of five-star recruits.
But while the big names were announced at Michigan's Signing of the Stars event, the Wolverines were receiving another commitment at an important position.

Brad Robbins, the No. 1 punter in the country, according to Kornblue Kicking, announced at 1:36 p.m. that he will also be joining Jim Harbaugh's 2017 recruiting class.

The Wolverines will have to replace starting punter Kenny Allen, who graduated after an excellent season punting the football. Allen shouldered the punting, kicking and field goal duties for Michigan as a fifth-year senior.
Kornblue Kicking said Robbins is ranked No. 1 after excelling at their punting challenges in December and July, in which he blasted punts of 54 yards, 46 yards and 47 yards and had hang times of over 5 seconds twice.
Oh, yeah, and he can dunk a basketball, too.
