DETROIT – The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame welcomed its 2017 class Friday at the Max Fisher Music Center.
The class includes former Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland, former University of Michigan and Detroit Lions lineman Jon Jansen, Oakland University men’s basketball coach Greg Kampe, former Michigan State and NFL wide receiver Andre Rison, former Michigan Fab-Five member Jalen Rose, former Detroit Piston Dennis Rodman, sports journalist Mitch Albom and two-sport star Dean Look.
