DETROIT – The Detroit Lions lost to the last-place Bears over the weekend, but they’re still fairly high in the latest rankings by Super Bowl odds.

Detroit is 9-4 and two games ahead of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North Division. They have the fourth-best record in the conference and fifth-best record in the NFL.

On Tuesday, updated Super Bowl odds were released at the conclusion of Week 14. The Lions have the eighth-best odds in the league and fourth-best in the conference:

1. San Francisco 49ers: +250

2. Baltimore Ravens: +600

3. Kansas City Chiefs: +650

4. Philadelphia Eagles: +700

5. Miami Dolphins: +750

5. Dallas Cowboys: +750

7. Buffalo Bills: +1800

8. Detroit Lions: +2000

9. Jacksonville Jaguars: +2200

10. Cleveland Browns: +4000

There’s a pretty obvious tier of six top contenders, and the Lions fall into a smaller second tier alongside the Bills and Jaguars.

Detroit already beat the Chiefs and lost to the Ravens this season. It will get its third chance against a Super Bowl contender in a few weeks against Dallas.
