DALLAS – The Detroit Lions listed four players on the injury report ahead of their game at the Dallas Cowboys.
Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and edge rusher James Houston are back at practice after spending most of the season on injured reserve, but neither will be able to play Saturday in Dallas.
The Lions will also be without No. 2 tight end Brock Wright for the second-straight week.
But perhaps the most important player on this list is cornerback Cam Sutton, who is questionable for Saturday with a toe injury. Sutton has been the team’s No. 1 corner all season, and the secondary is already a major question mark due to the injuries to Gardner-Johnson and Emmanuel Moseley.
Here’s the full injury report from Thursday’s practice:
- Cornerback Cam Sutton -- questionable (toe).
- Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson -- out (pectoral).
- Edge rusher James Houston -- out (ankle).
- Tight end Brock Wright -- out (hip).
