The American Red Cross and the NFL are offering two tickets to the Super Bowl to encourage people to donate blood this month.
Anyone who donates blood Jan. 1 through Jan. 31, 2024, will automatically be entered to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. The Super Bowl will be played at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024.
The winner will get to watch the Super Bowl in person in Las Vegas. They’ll also get access to day-of in-stadium pre-game activities, tickets to the official Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare to Las Vegas, three-night hotel accommodations (Feb. 9-12), and $1,000 gift card for other expenses.
This is the fifth year the two organizations teamed up during National Blood Donor Month. The American Red Cross recently said it marked the lowest number of blood donors in the past 20 years and warned of an emergency blood shortage.
“The need for blood is very urgent right now,” said Jamila Wilson, with the American Red Cross. “Because coming off of the holidays, donations have steadily declined.”
