DETROIT – The Detroit Lions listed six players on the final injury report before their first-round playoff game against Matthew Stafford and the Rams.
Detroit is hosting its first playoff game in the Ford Field era after winning the NFC North Division. The Lions and Rams are slated for a primetime kickoff on Sunday night.
The last game of the regular season left the Lions with a few major injury concerns, especially on offense. Star rookie tight end Sam LaPorta and returner Kalif Raymond are both dealing with knee injuries.
Detroit’s defense will need all hands on deck to stop Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams. Fortunately, that unit is looking very healthy heading into the postseason.
Here’s the full injury report from Friday’s practice:
- Wide receiver Kalif Raymond -- out (knee).
- Cornerback Jerry Jacobs -- out (thigh/knee).
- Edge rusher James Houston -- out (ankle).
- Tight end James Mitchell -- out (hand).
- Tight end Sam LaPorta -- questionable (knee).
- John Cominsky -- questionable (illness).
