DETROIT – Now that the Detroit Lions have defeated the Rams and Buccaneers, we know exactly who and when they will play in the NFC Championship Game.
The No. 1 seeded San Francisco 49ers came back and scored a go-ahead touchdown with 1:07 remaining Saturday to defeat the No. 7 Packers and secure their spot in the conference title.
That means the Lions will have to hit the road for the first time this postseason, traveling to San Francisco with a spot in the Super Bowl on the line.
The NFC Championship Game is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28. It will be the second game of the day after the Ravens host either the Chiefs or Bills at 3 p.m.
