Detroit Lions drone light show returns Saturday: What fans need to know

Show starts at 6:30 on Saturday in Detroit

DETROIT – Back by popular demand, the Lions are bringing back the drone light show ahead of this weekend’s NFC Championship game.

The Lions-49ers game is over in San Francisco, but here in Downtown Detroit, fans will be celebrating in many other ways, including with a big watch party at Ford Field on Sunday.

But on Saturday, fans can head downtown to catch a glimpse of the drone show.

“A Lions-themed drone show will be visible 400 feet above Ford Field, facing downtown, Saturday night (January 27) at 6:30 p.m. This event is weather-dependent. Guests must stay southeast of Madison Street for the show to safely operate.”

It was originally planned for Friday but was moved to Saturday due to fog.

You don’t need tickets or anything, you can just grab a view of Ford Field and enjoy the show. Go Lions!
