SAN FRANCISCO – The Detroit Lions listed four players on the final injury report before the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Left guard Jonah Jackson dealt with on-and-off injuries all season, and he’s back on the shelf this weekend after hurting his knee against the Buccaneers.
The Lions have been a completely different team with a healthy offensive line, but their depth will be tested without Jackson’s athleticism in the running game. His ability to get to the second level and turn medium gains into big plays will be missed.
Returner Kalif Raymond is also out for the third-straight week. He hurt his knee in the regular-season finale against Minnesota.
Here’s the full injury report from Friday’s practice:
- Left guard Jonah Jackson -- out (knee).
- Wide receiver Kalif Raymond -- out (knee).
- Quarterback Hendon Hooker -- questionable (tooth).
- Cornerback Chase Lucas -- questionable (illness).
