SAN FRANCISCO – A photo of Eminem flipping off 49ers fans in full Detroit Lions gear at the NFC Championship Game is blowing up on social media.
Eminem is a very vocal supporter of the Lions, and he’s been a prominent figure at all of this year’s playoff games. That wasn’t going to change Sunday when the team went on the road, as he was in San Francisco to support his hometown team.
After the Lions jumped out to an early lead, a picture of Eminem surfaced on social media, showing him flipping off 49ers fans with both hands from a suite.
I mean, it’s not exactly a surprise, is it? But I don’t think Lions fans are going to hold it against him, especially after 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said, “They haven’t played anyone like us” during his pregame interview.
The Lions are trying to qualify for their first-ever Super Bowl appearance and earn a rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs. They’ve jumped out to a 24-7 lead at halftime.
