DETROIT – The NFL Free Agency season is upon us, and the Detroit Lions could be trying to make a splash, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
The two-day free agent negotiation period starts at 12 p.m. on March 11, “clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with the certified agents of players who will become unrestricted free agents upon the expiration of their 2023 player contracts at 4:00 p.m., New York time, on March 13.”
The 2024 League Year and Free Agency signing period starts at 4 p.m. on March 13.

Detroit Lions free agency updates:
- Former Lions guard Jonah Jackson is signing with the Rams, according to NFL Network. It’s a 3-year, $51 million deal.
- The Lions are re-signing guard Graham Glasgow to a 3-year, $20 million deal that includes $9.5 million guaranteed, according to ESPN.
- The Lions re-signed CB Emmanuel Moseley. He rejoins the Lions after appearing in one game in 2023 before missing the remainder of the season due to injury.
- The Lions re-signed LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin to a contract extension through the 2025 season.
