DETROIT – According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, NBA veteran Taj Gibson has signed a deal with the Detroit Pistons for the remainder of the season.
The 15-year veteran, a true stalwart of the NBA, is expected to sign his contract on Saturday (March 16).

Gibson, 38, signed a 10-day contract with the Pistons last week after the New York Knicks waived him in January.
The 38-year-old, a first pick by the Chicago Bulls in 2009, spent eight seasons in the house Michael Jordan built before embarking on a journey that led him to the Detroit Pistons via the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Washington Wizards.
The savvy veteran has a career average of 8.6 points per game and 5.8 rebounds.
