Detroit Lions Pro Bowl pass catcher Amon-Ra St. Brown will be among the privileged few featured on Netflix’s exclusive new sports docuseries, “Receiver.”

St. Brown is joined in this camaraderie by wide receivers Devante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, Deebo Samuel, and tight end George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter broke the news Tuesday (March 19) on X.

Camera crews captured the journey of these five pass-catchers during the 2023-24 NFL season, a season where St. Brown proudly established himself as one of the best receivers in the game.

In just his third season, St. Brown helped the Lions accomplish astronomical feats last year. He helped the team capture its first NFC North divisional title since 1993, win two playoff games, end a decades-long drought, and come one-half short of its first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.

In 16 games, St. Brown totaled 1,515 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 119-164 passes to help the Lions go 12-5 on the season.

The series follows the success of last year’s “Quarterback,” which featured Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Jefferson’s former QB Kirk Cousins, and current Washington Commanders veteran Marcus Mariota.

There is no time or date of release, but you could expect the docuseries to premiere sometime after the 2024 NFL draft.
