The Pistons once again got the No. 5 pick in the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft.
The NBA Draft Lottery was held on Sunday, and the Pistons didn’t do any better than last year, when they also got the No. 5 pick.

The Pistons, for the fourth straight year, were tied with the best odds to land the No. 1 overall pick.
In the previous three years, the Pistons got the No. 1 pick in Cade Cunningham, and the No. 5 pick, in back-to-back years, resulting in Jaden Ivey and Ausar Thompson.
The Pistons entered Sunday’s NBA Draft Lottery with a 14% chance at the top pick, tied with Washington, and a 52.1% chance at landing a top-four pick.
Detroit finished the 2023-2024 season with just 14 wins, a franchise-record, not the good kind.
Many believe this year’s draft class is one of the weakest in recent memory. The top prospects are international.
The 2024 NBA Draft will be held on June 26-27.
