DETROIT – We’re finally getting our first glimpse of the show that will take fans behind the scenes with Detroit Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown.
“Receiver” is the sequel to the popular Netflix series, “Quarterback,” which followed Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes, and Marcus Mariota during the 2022 season.
On July 10, the new season will document some of the league’s top wide receivers (and a tight end). It will center around the 2023 season, which should excite Lions fans even more, since their team went 12-5 and won an NFC North Division title.
In the trailer below, St. Brown talks about his love for celebrations, the quest for a division title, and much more.
Spoiler: He ended up posting career highs with 119 catches, 1,515 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns. So the Lions made him (briefly) the highest-paid receiver in the NFL.
Catch every moment.
