DETROIT – A Detroit Lions player who has missed almost all of the last two seasons with a torn ACL in each knee just went down with another injury in practice, per reports.
Veteran cornerback Emmanuel Moseley suffered a torn pectoral muscle and is out indefinitely, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Lions signed Moseley to a one-year deal in March 2023 after he missed all but five games due to a torn left ACL during his last season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2022.
He returned to the field in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers, and tore his right ACL just a few plays later.
The Lions signed him to another one-year deal this offseason, and he’s been battling for the starting nickel position during camp. But now it appears he’ll miss most of a third-straight season due to injury.
