The Detroit Lions made a few roster moves on Monday, including the signing of another backup quarterback prospect.

The Lions announced the signing of quarterback Jake Fromm and linebacker Ty Summers.

They also waived wide receiver Antoine Green, a former 7th round pick for the team in 2023, after an injury.

It’s unclear if Jake Fromm is a real backup quarterback option, but the Lions will get a look at the former George Bulldog after Hendon Hooker left the first preseason game with a concussion.

Fromm was drafted by Buffalo in 2020, and has also spent time with the Giants and Commanders.
