It may not feel like fall is around the corner, but football season is here, and you can expect more high school football than ever this season Local 4+.
Starting this week, we’re launching Local 4′s High School Game of the Week in partnership with State Champs Sports Network.
Starting Thursday (Aug. 29) at 4 p.m., you can watch Southgate Anderson take on Trenton. Then, at 7 p.m., you can join the De La Salle and Davison game, and that’s just the beginning.
The fun continues Friday, Aug. 30, a night with two more games -- Belleville vs. Clarkston at 4 p.m. and Detroit MLK vs. Cleveland Heights at 7 p.m.
You’ll be able to watch Local 4′s High School Game every Friday at 7 p.m. through the season.
Local 4+ is available on ClickOnDetroit, the ClickOnDetroit mobile app or the Local 4+ TV streaming app, available on smart TV devices and Samsung TVs. The apps are free to download and use.
It’s the return of Local 4′s Game of the Week for high school football as students mark their return into the new school year.
This week, we will have two doubleheaders. Game one is on Thursday (Aug. 29), when Southgate Anderson will take on Trenton in the Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State University.
The game will be broadcast line on the State Champs Network.
De La Salle will take on Davison at 7 p.m. to cap off Thursday’s doubleheader.
Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, will feature Belleville High School taking on the Clarkston Wolves at 4 p.m. at Tom Adams Field in Detroit.
At 7 p.m., Martin Luther King High School will host Cleveland Heights in a non-league matchup.
