A fan who made a very bold promise if his team lost and then deleted his account when it happened is getting destroyed all across social media.

It started on Aug. 27, three days after No. 10 Florida State lost its season opener to Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland.

A Florida State fan, now widely known by his X handle, @321nole, was extraordinarily confident that his team would not lose its second game of the season.

He posted at 11:42 a.m. Aug. 27, 2024, that if the Seminoles lost to Boston College, he would eat something very, very unpleasant out of a Solo cup and post a video of himself doing it.

Well, after Florida State fell behind by 15 points in the third quarter on Monday night, somebody noticed that @321nole had deleted his account.

Unfortunately for him, his promise did not disappear quite as easily.

Screenshots of the Aug. 27 tweet flooded social media before the game even went final. By the time Boston College officially polished off a 28-13 victory, @321nole was a household name on X.

Andy Staples and Ari Wasserman, who cover college football, issued an open invite to @321nole to fulfill his promise live on their show. ESPN personalities called him out on the air.

Several accounts are mocking the search for @321nole as if he’s a “missing” person. Others are even replying to previous discussions that involved @321nole from months ago to try to find someone who knows him.

College football season was already off to a rough start for Florida State fans. But nobody’s had it quite as rough as the now-infamous @321nole.
