DETROIT – The only thing less likely than Amon-Ra St. Brown throwing a touchdown pass on Monday Night Football was Jared Goff catching one.
Well, they both happened on the same play.
The Detroit Lions were in the red zone midway through the third quarter on Monday and leading the Seattle Seahawks 21-14 when Ben Johnson dialed up the trick play of all trick plays.
Goff took the snap and dropped it off to St. Brown in the backfield. St. Brown turned and lofted a perfect dime to Goff, who caught it and trotted into the end zone.
And to top it all off, they did it in the black jerseys. Art.
