Detroit Pistons to host open practice at Wayne State Fieldhouse

First 1K fans that arrive for the open practice will also receive free popcorn

DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons are hosting an open practice at Wayne State Fieldhouse.

The open practice will be held on Saturday (Oct. 5) inside the home of the Pistons’ G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.

Admission is free. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and practice will commence at 12 p.m.

Parking will be available at the Wayne State Fieldhouse parking lot free of charge.

The open practice will allow Pistons fans to get an up-close look at the 2024-25 team, including newcomers Tobias Harris, former Michigan Wolverines star Tim Hardaway Jr., Malik Beasley, and Paul Reed, and the Pistons’ 2024-25 draft selections, Ron Holland II and Bobi Klintman, as well as Cade Cunningham and NBA All-Star Rising Stars Jalen Duren, Jaden Ivey, and Isaiah Stewart.

New Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will lead the practice and debut some of the club’s offensive and defensive schemes for the upcoming season.

Open practice will also feature the 2024-25 Detroit Pistons Dancers, photo opportunities with Pistons mascot Hooper, ticket booths for upcoming games, and concessions available for purchase.

The first 1,000 fans that arrive for the open practice will also receive free popcorn.
