According to reports, almost 1,000 Maize & Blue fans will be in the high school football stands for the District Championship game, which kicks off at 7 p.m., to show their support for Underwood and Dotson, who the program has been recruiting hard.
The Wolverines have put their chips on the table for Underwood, who is verbally committed to LSU and is just 20 minutes down the road from Michigan Stadium.
They’re in desperate need of a quarterback, especially since they’ve played three, including Davis Warren, Alex Orji, and Jack Tuttle, through 10 weeks of the 2024 college football season, which has led to a 5-4 record for the reigning College Football Playoff National Champions.
If flipped, the 6’4″ five-star prodigy would take the Michigan football to new heights.
Dotson, verbally committed to the University of Pittsburgh, has recently been on the Wolverines’ radar.
The four-star safety/athlete was on the Ann Arbor campus for an official visit during the Wolverines home matchup vs. the No. 1 ranked Oregon Ducks on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024.
Dotson, a three-time Track NB All-American, and a five-time All-State Hurdler is the speedster the men in maize desperately need on both sides of the ball.
The early signing period is Dec. 4, 2024, which gives both players time to decide whether to stay home. Where do you think Underwood and Dotson will land?
