DETROIT – The Detroit Lions are in the middle of two key playoff races with six games left in the regular season.

Front and center is the battle for the NFC North. Despite their 10-1 record and nine-game winning streak, the Lions lead the Minnesota Vikings by just a game in the division standings. The Green Bay Packers are lingering two games back.

Meanwhile, the Lions are currently atop the conference and have the inside track to the No. 1 seed in the NFC. But the Philadelphia Eagles are only one game behind and have won seven in a row.

So every remaining game is still important. But which is the most important?

1. Green Bay Packers

  • Game details: Dec. 5 (Thursday Night Football) in Detroit

I think this is the most important game left on the schedule, even though the Packers are in third place in the NFC North.

Detroit has already gone into Lambeau Field and won by 10 points, but last year the Packers came into Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day and beat the Lions after losing the first head-to-head in Green Bay.

Obviously, this game is important because of the division.
