DETROIT – A new Detroit Lions star had a hilarious and predictable response to seeing snow for the very first time.
Southeast Michigan got a dusting of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and Lions rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold was not feeling it.
Arnold posted TikTok videos from a gas station just before midnight Wednesday, and it was snowing fairly hard in the background.
“I am from Florida, bro,” Arnold said in the first video. “I am not supposed to be in this right here. I’m at the gas station trying to get gas, but what in the world? Take me back home, man. Detroit, I love y’all, I love playing for the Lions. But, I need to go now.”
The caption on the video reads, “I can’t even get gas the pump froze.”
In a second video, Arnold’s caption said, “POV: you from Florida and it’s your first time seeing snow.” It shows him standing in the snow, looking devastated, with sad music in the background.

Arnold went to high school in Tallahassee, Florida, and college at the University of Alabama.
According to 247 Sports, he took official visits to Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU. While he was at Alabama, the Crimson Tide only went on the road outside the SEC twice: once to Texas and once to South Florida.

During his redshirt freshman season, Arnold went to Indianapolis for the Jan. 10, 2022, national championship game, but that was in Lucas Oil Stadium, which is a dome. Weather history sites show it didn’t snow in Indianapolis that week.
So I guess it’s not surprising that this is his first taste of true winter weather.
The Lions need Arnold to overcome his snow shock by Thursday night, as they host the Green Bay Packers in a key divisional battle.
