DETROIT – The coach of the Packers got into a pregame swearing match with a Detroit Lions fan who was on the field to hold the giant American flag for the National Anthem.

UPDATE: What Packers coach said about pregame swearing match with Lions fan on field

Videos of the exchange surfaced on social media right around the start of the Thursday Night Football game at Ford Field.

The Lions are clearly under the skin of LaFleur, who was caught on the Nov. 3 broadcast telling the Lions' sideline to, ahem, “go away” (that’s the family-friendly version) during the first matchup.

This time, LaFleur was jawing and gesturing at a fan in a Honolulu Blue Brian Branch jersey. The fan was on the field to help hold the giant American flag that gets brought onto the field for the National Anthem.

I’m not going to translate for you, but let’s just say the Packers' coach was, well, displeased.

LaFleur and a few Packers players approached the fan, who was ushered away by two referees.

It appeared LaFleur wanted the fan ejected from the game, or at least removed from the field. It looked like the officials were considering removing him, but whatever they told LaFleur afterward didn’t satisfy him at all.
