DETROIT – A new Detroit Lions star is experiencing driving in the snow for the first time, and I think we can all relate to his hilarious reaction.
Terrion Arnold posted some videos one week ago that showed his response to seeing snow for the very first time. Arnold grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and went to college at Alabama, so he’s not used to this type of winter weather.
“I am from Florida, bro,” Arnold said at the time. “I am not supposed to be in this right here. I’m at the gas station trying to get gas, but what in the world? Take me back home, man. Detroit, I love y’all, I love playing for the Lions. But, I need to go now.”
This week, Arnold is getting his first true taste of winter driving. The timing of the snowfall Wednesday night into Thursday morning made for some tricky driving conditions, and Arnold was apparently in the middle of it.
“We’re back with another video, man, in the cold,” Arnold said on TikTok. I’m trying to get adjusted to it, can’t lie. I’m doing better, but, you know, I don’t even know what to say, bro.
“You can’t see nothing when you drive. I almost just ran off the road, so I just pulled aside just to wait until it died down a little bit. You can’t see nothing at all, but I’m going to keep y’all posted on that.
“On the bright side, the Lions still winning though, man. Yeah, so that’s the best part about being in Detroit, though. Other than that, you can’t see nothing, and it’s cold.”
The video was posted around 11 p.m. with the caption, “The snow ain’t for everyone."
Arnold is having an excellent rookie season after the Lions drafted him in the first round this spring. Detroit hasn’t lost since Arnold was enjoying the 80-degree Michigan weather in mid-September.
