DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons will honor Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame guard Chauncey “Mr. Big Shot” Billups when his Portland Trail Blazers visit Little Caesars Arena.
The Pistons will host the Trail Blazers on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at 7 p.m.

Fans can purchase tickets to celebrate Mr. Big Shot’s Hall of Fame induction at Pistons.com/tickets. The first 5,000 fans will receive Billups' bobblehead, presented by Kroger.
During the game, fans will relive moments from Billups' illustrious career with video montages from his eight-year tenure with the Pistons.
Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats for halftime as artist Evan Struck will speed paint a photo of Billups.
On Monday, the Pistons will also celebrate Billups' Hall of Fame induction with a special retail capsule with Mitchell & Ness.
The two-piece capsule features a “Mr. Big Shot” t-shirt and a Hall of Fame Hoodie.
The pieces will be available at the Team Store at Little Caesars Arena, online at Pistons313Shop.com, and at Plum Market at the Henry Ford Pistons Performance Center.
Purchases made online and at the Pistons Team Store will include a commemorative Billups Hall of Fame Trading Card.
Billups, the 2004 Finals MVP, helped the Pistons win the Eastern Conference Championships in 2004 and 2005 and the NBA Championship in 2004. In a Pistons uniform, he posted a .676 winning percentage, which is the highest win percentage by a player in franchise history (Minimum 300 games). His 2,984 assists rank fourth in franchise history.
He averaged 15.2 points, 5.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game in 1,043 NBA games over 17 seasons with the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Pistons, New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Billups was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame this past summer on Oct. 14.
