ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A Michigan baseball player took over the internet this weekend with one of the most outrageous celebrations you’ll ever see during a sporting event.

Junior Mitch Voit is having an incredible season at the plate for the Wolverines, batting .451 with five homers, 11 doubles, six stolen bases, and 14 walks to just 15 strikeouts in 19 games.

But it wasn’t the doubles or the homers or the steals that thrust Voit into the national spotlight on Sunday. It was his lone triple.

During Michigan’s 11-0 win over USC in Ann Arbor, Voit hit a three-run triple, slid into third, and celebrated by pretending to snort the chalk on the third-base line.

“Wild” and “diabolical” are two of the words that were thrown around to describe this celebration. It has certainly garnered a ton of attention across social media.

Michigan baseball has not commented on the celebration, and it was cut out of Voit’s highlight reel posted by the Big Ten:
