DETROIT – The full schedule for the Detroit Pistons’ first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Game 1: 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19.
  • Game 2: 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 21.
  • Game 3: Thursday, April 24 (time TBA).
  • Game 4: 1 p.m. Sunday, April 27.
  • Game 5: Tuesday, April 29 (time TBA).
  • Game 6: Thursday, May 1 (time TBA).
  • Game 7: Saturday, May 3 (time TBA).

Obviously, the final three games in that series will only be played if necessary.

This is the most anticipated playoff series at Little Caesars Arena since the Pistons and Red Wings moved there in 2017.

The Red Wings haven’t been to the playoffs since leaving Joe Louis Arena, and the Pistons only made one brief cameo in 2019, when they were quickly (and expectedly) swept by the Milwaukee Bucks.

But this year is different. Even though the Pistons are the underdog as a No. 6 seed, they have played consistent winning basketball for four months, and they won three of four head-to-head meetings with the No. 3 seed Knicks during the regular season.

Games 3 and 4 in Downtown Detroit will come with an electric atmosphere, and if the series goes to Game 6, LCA will be even louder.
