DETROIT – The Belle Isle Raceway is ready to go with the return of racing and fans back in the stands.
The Grand Prixmiere kicked off Thursday with raising money for the Belle Isle Conservancy.

“It’s amazing to come out tonight and raise money for the conservancy. We’ve got Belle Isle lit up for the fans coming Saturday and Sunday with Indy Cars and sports cars. It’s special for out city,” said Roger Penske.
The Detroit Grand Prix is Saturday and Sunday (June 12-13) on Belle Isle.
