Have you seen what happens when you Google ‘Michigan football’ today?

HOUSTON – Google had a little something special prepared for the day after Michigan football’s victory in the national championship game.

The Wolverines beat Washington by three touchdowns on Monday night to finish the 2023-24 season a perfect 15-0. It was the program’s first-ever appearance in an official national championship game, and it ended with Jim Harbaugh, Blake Corum, J.J. McCarthy, Will Johnson, and the rest of the Wolverines hoisting the trophy.

Most Michigan fans probably woke up Tuesday morning eager to read all about this great season, and if they went to Google to do it, they got a nice little surprise.

If you Google “Michigan football” or University of Michigan football,” the page that comes up features a mini fireworks graphic celebrating the title.

It’s nothing compared to the fireworks fans saw throughout the season, but it’s another small acknowledgement of just how much Michigan has accomplished.
