Go 4 It: Help us support children, families in foster care

Join us March 18 alongside the Children’s Center

Go 4 It: Carrying Hope (WDIV)

DETROIT – Local 4 is teaming up with the Children’s Center to help children and families in foster care.

Many children enter foster care with little or no belongings of their own. But together, we can change that!

On March 18, 2025, Local 4 will be at 79 Alexandrine West in Detroit to collect items that those children and families need most: new to like-new luggage, new large and extra large duffel bags, new socks and underwear, and new hygiene items.

You can view a more detailed list of items below.

You can help us make an impact by stopping by on March 18 and bringing your donations.

If you can’t make it but you want to help out, click here to visit the Children’s Center’s Amazon list of needed items.
