A native of the state known as “The Boot”, Hobie is excited to call “The Mitten” home.
Born & raised in a small town in Louisiana, Hobie Artigue joins Local 4 after spending more than a decade in Big Ten territory covering sports across the Midwest.
Before moving to Detroit, Hobie worked in Minneapolis as a sports anchor/reporter, helping to lead the station’s coverage of the Minnesota Vikings & Minnesota Golden Gophers. A graduate of LSU, Hobie also made stops in Madison, WI & Monroe, LA in his career.
He & his wife (a Southeast Michigan native) live in Metro Detroit with their rescue pets and are thrilled to plant roots in the Detroit-area community.
