Joel Eisenbaum

Investigative Reporter

Joel Eisenbaum joined KPRC 2 in 2005 as an investigative reporter.

He has three beautiful children and a dog he describes as "one heck of a dog."

Joel grew up in Aurora, Colorado with his brother.
He attended Colgate University where he played baseball. After being cut from the team, Joel was awarded a huge intramural softball title during his senior year. He says many people still talk about this dramatic win.

Joel later graduated from the University of Southern California, earning a Master's degree in Journalism.
He started his career in 1997 in Casper, Wyoming, as the weekend weather anchor for the NBC affiliate.
He was later a weekend news anchor in Huntsville, Alabama, and a general assignment reporter in San Antonio.
Joel says has the appropriate number of journalism awards for an old reporter and no money or free time because of his children.

In high school, Joel won the prestigious honor of "Most likely to marry a Barbie Doll" and was captain of the baseball team.
