Jon Jordan

Style Editor

Jon is proud to be an employee of WDIV Local 4 for over thirty years. He was born in Royal Oak, Michigan and majored in Art at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Art has always been a driving force in his life. His parents recognized this in him at a very early age and enrolled him at The Cranbrook Academy. He goes through any given day processing all that he encounters visually, in great detail. It’s probably the reason that his position as Style Editor is "the perfect fit." He loves painting and sketching, photography, and interior design.

If you're a fan of fashion you should be a fan of Jon. Jon is on a mission to make style an integral part of everybody's life, thereby making the world a more beautiful place to live! You can see his Local 4 Style reports regularly during Local 4 News.

Jon is a native of Michigan, who was born in Royal Oak. He attended The University of Michigan, where he studied art. He then ended up in New York to "study disco at Studio 54."

Jon spent almost two decades as a make-up artist and wardrobe consultant for print, TV, and film. His celebrity clients have included President Bill Clinton, Cindy Crawford, Sarah, the Duchess of York, Tom Brokaw and Spike Lee.

Jon's career has taken him across the globe and he's shared his travels with viewers. He has been to the Golden Globe awards in Los Angeles and provided red carpet fashion commentary, was in London for the royal funeral of the Queen Mother, and the nuptial celebration of H.R.H. Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Jon has hosted the Saks Fifth Avenue Magic Makeover in Detroit, Chicago, Dallas and San Antonio. He is always scanning the streets of Detroit seeking out style in all of its forms.

Some of Jon's accolades include being voted as one of Victoria's Secret's Fifteen Sexiest Broadcasters, and Detroit's "Style Icon" by the readers of Hour Detroit Magazine.
