Attention iPhone users: You may want to update to the latest iOS as soon as you can.
The latest update doesn't have any major new features, but it does include a major patch for a Safari security bug.
According to Lookout, the latest update fixes a scam that used pop-up dialogs on Safari that would lock out a user from using the browser.
The system would then ask for money, in the form of an iTunes gift card, to unlock the browser.
The Lookout reports that attackers displayed threatening messages to scare victims, but didn't actually take any data from the phone.
Other iOS 10.3 features include a Find My AirPods feature, and an update to Maps.
The new software will also speed up your phone, due to tweeks in animations for app transitions.
