A driver crashed into a Port Huron officer’s police car early Saturday morning after failing to stop at a flashing red light, police said.

Police said he was holding onto a vehicle while skateboarding when he fell and struck the pavement.

He was rushed to McLaren Macomb Hospital with critical injuries.

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is asking residents to be vigilant if they see thoroughly cleaned floors over Thanksgiving.
