The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will host a virtual meeting Monday regarding the upcoming I-275 construction project in Wayne County. Over the next three years MDOT will repair and rebuild 24 miles of the freeway between Will Carlton Road and Six Mile Road. NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 19-year-old from Westland has been charged in a fatal hit-and-run in Northville Township that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man. Gustavo Godinez Jr. is facing a felony charge that carries up to 15 years in prison. NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. A 20-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday night in a hit-and-run on Sheldon Road between Six Mile Road and Tournament Drive in Northville Township. Witnesses described the vehicle traveling from Six Mile Road south on Sheldon Road before the crash, police said. The vehicle was described as a white or silver sedan last seen traveling south on Sheldon Road toward Five Mile Road.
