Officials at Upland Hills School in Addison Township also have indicated that they want to continue classes outdoors throughout the year using sturdy, temperature-controlled tents when needed, The Detroit News reported. After schools closed in March to curb the spread of the virus, school officials have been determined to have in-person classes. We all just dropped our books and left school and never came back until now," said Rob Himburg, Upland Hills director. “We just knew our kids needed to be back here with their friends as safe as we can make it, and we want them to feel safe."

Oakland County officials said a 61-year-old Leonard woman was found dead in a home in the 1800 block of Rochester Road in Addison Township. Officials said a neighbor reported receiving a call from the womans husband needing medical attention for himself. Addison Township Fire Department and county deputies responded to the home and found the woman with obvious signs of decomposition. The womans husband was transported to a hospital due to insect infestation. Officials said the Oakland County Animal Control was requested to remove nine cats, one dog and a bird from the residence.

Oakland County officials said they found a womans decomposed body and 11 animals inside a home when they removed a man for medical attention due to an insect infestation. Oakland County deputies and Addison Township firefighters were called at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday to a home in the 1800 block of Rochester Road in the village of Leonard, officials said. Her husband was taken from the home to Ascension Providence Hospital of Rochester for medical attention due to insect infestation, officials said. Oakland County Animal Control officers came to the home and removed nine cats, a dog and a bird. The Oakland County Medical Examiners Office took custody of the womans body and scheduled an autopsy.
