DETROIT The historic Bagley Mansion in Detroits Rivertown District has hit the market for $3.2 million. Built in 1889, the John N. Bagley Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located along the Detroit River on Jefferson Avenue, in the Rivertown District. Built as a private residence, then converted to mixed use retail and office space, the Bagley features six fireplaces, original hand carved woodwork and cabinetry. Leaded stained-glass windows and exterior stone carvings designed by Julius Melchers -- famously known as a mentor of legendary architect Albert Khan.
