The National Weather Service issued a Tornado warning Friday night for Oakland and Livingston counties until 10:30 p.m. but those have since expired.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A driver was killed Wednesday morning when a vehicle drove off of eastbound I-696 near M-5 and struck a bridge abutment, Michigan State Police said. The crash happened about 5:30 a.m. on eastbound I-696 in Farmington Hills. The vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck the bridge. The interstate was shut down at M-5 in Farmington Hills. State police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash and working to identify the victim.

GARFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. An Amber Alert has been issued in Grand Traverse County after a 15-year-old girl went missing on Sunday afternoon. Anna Mae Taylor of Garfield Township is believed to be in the company of a male named Brandon Reyes, who is also from Garfield Township, officials shared in a Facebook post. Taylor is described as standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighting 110 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Reyes is described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grand Traverse Central Dispatch at 231-922-4550.

DETROIT The National Weather Service issued a thunderstorm warning for Livingston and Washtenaw counties. The warning lasts until 10:45 p.m.You can read the full forecast here. A heat advisory has also been issued for Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties will continue until 12 a.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service issued a thunder storm warning Thursday afternoon for Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair counties until 7 p.m. and a thunderstorm warning for Sanilac County until 7:15 p.m.

DETROIT Southeastern Michigan is now under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. Wednesday. Potential hazards include damaging wind gusts (up to 70 mph), tornadoes and large hail. DETROIT – A rollover crash Tuesday morning blocked lanes for hours on westbound I-94 near Gratiot Avenue in Detroit. Michigan State Police said a garbage truck rolled over on the interstate. Lanes were blocked while debris was being cleared. It’s unclear what caused the truck to roll over. Check the Live Traffic Map here.
