A Hamtramck judge gets a warning over the way she spoke to a cancer patient about the weeds on his property.

Hamtramck District Judge Alexis G. Krot apologizes to a 72-year old cancer patient who she criticized and threatened to give jail time to over weeds that were overly growing on his property.

A defendant was asked why he hasn’t been keeping his walkway clear but his situation didn’t garner any sympathy from the judge.

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with threatening Judge Alexis Krot of 31st District Court. Zijad Talic, of Hamtramck, is accused of making death threats regarding Krot via text message to a third party. On July 2, when officers went to arrest Talic hes accused of trying to avoid officers by not stopping his car and committing traffic violations. Talic has been charged with treat of terrorism, obstruction of justice, fleeing and eluding and malicious use of a telecommunication devise. Talic was given a $150,000 cash bond and a probable cause conference date of July 20, 2020.

However, the defendant is so politically connected that the judge herself offered to step asideAljahim is a community liaison at Oakland International Academy and a Democratic political activist. Previous coverage:Aljahim is so tied in to Hamtramck politics that district Judge Alexis Krot had to first say that Aljahim helped get her elected to the bench. Last time in court, prosecutors revealed Aljahim is also under investigation for three other alleged sexual assaults -- two alleged victims under the age of 16 and one over 18, but that victim is disabled. Aljahim's lawyer also revealed what his defense will be: He is accusing three Oakland International Academy students of actually attacking the teen.

The judge wants Aljahim on a tether and warned him to not go around the victim or his family. Aljahim's lawyer is accusing three Oakland International Academy students of attacking the teen.
