This year weโ€™re gonna do it 2,000 more times,โ€ Duggan said. โ€œIf you have a block club and you want to petition for an alley clean up, weโ€™ll come do it. But you, as neighbors, are gonna have to go through twice a year and do a follow-up,โ€ Duggan said. โ€œIf you want your alley cleaned up, you can apply right now and we will get to you this year.

DETROIT โ€“ A 43-year-old man is facing several charges for allegedly shooting and killing a woman, whose body was found in a Detroit alley in November. John Baldwin, of Detroit, was charged on Nov. 28 in connection with the homicide of Sarita Rebekah Neal, 41, also from Detroit. John E. Baldwin (Detroit Police Department)On the morning of Nov. 13, Detroit police found Nealโ€™s body in an alley in the area of Schoenherr and Lappin streets. Officials said the woman was transported to a medical examiner, who determined Neal died from a single gunshot wound to the head. Officials say Baldwin allegedly fatally shot the victim, transported her remains to the Detroit alley in a car and later set that car on fire at another location.

Bowling alleys were among the list of venues shuttered across the state for months due to the coronavirus. Some areas of the state already were allowed to have alleys operational.
