Comfort food has become a go-to this year but what if you’re looking for something a tad bit more upscale? A new Ann Arbor restaurant is putting a twist on some of your favorite classic dishes while offering cocktails and holiday dinners to-go. Host, Jason Carr chatted with Allie Lyttle, Executive Chef of La La’s in Ann Arbor about everything they offer. ANN ARBOR, Mich. The Standard Bistro & Larder is switching gears and is introducing LaLas, a new pop-up restaurant, in its place. The pop-up restaurant is only open on weekends, with dinner service Fridays and Saturdays, and brunch offerings Saturday and Sunday mornings. While the pop-up is currently planned for the summer, the goal is for LaLas to become the concept for the restaurant going forward. ANN ARBOR, Mich. - On Oct. 3, the Junior League of Ann Arbor will present the seventh annual Women in Leadership event. Held at Weber's Boutique Hotel from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the event allows Ann Arborites and attendees from the metro-Detroit area to listen to women leaders, network with each other and interact with local vendors. The evening features a keynote speech by Ann Arbor author Camille Noe Pagn followed by a panelist discussion.
