Donovan Clingan, Tristen Newton and top overall seed UConn overwhelmed an undermanned Northwestern team 75-58 to sail into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

UConn's NCAA champion basketball team arrived back on campus Tuesday to more than 7,000 cheering fans inside Gampel Pavilion, the team's home arena.

Zach Freemantle scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Colby Jones also scored 16, helping No. 22 Xavier hand No. 2 UConn its first loss, 83-73.
